Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born April 16, 1996 in Miami Florida. The child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father is an native of Argentina with Scottish and English descendant is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's ex-married partners. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, and the family relocated into Victoria at the time of London. Taylor-Joy stated the relocation was difficult and that she was unable to study English as she wanted to return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend following her departure from Northlands. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. When she was 16 she left school in order to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor started when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model to hire her as a professional model.
