Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and actor best known for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Born in Arkansas she grew up at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. Sheryl was a part of her childhood caring for her sister Frankie, who had polio. Growing up, she had an uneasy relationship with her mom. Sheryl says that at one point her mother cut her dad for being too close to him. Sheryl was a soldier soon after she graduated college. But her passion was comedy. She was chosen as the first ever female finalist in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. In 1992, she began her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She was a guest on Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. She is currently a guest co-host for Talk Talk since 2011. Also, she's appeared as a fictional character in shows such as Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
