Anita Sarkeesian (Canadian-American) is a feminist media critic as well as a public speaker, and Canadian. Feminist Frequency was established by Sarkeesian. It hosts video clips which include commentary on the representations of women that are prevalent in contemporary culture. Anita Sarkeesian is an award-winning Canadian-American feminist media critic as well as blogger. It only strengthened her as a feminist journalist. Her numerous contributions to the feminist field have been recognized by numerous awards. Anita Sarkeesian, a media critic, has been awarded several awards and founded Feminist Frequency as an educational organization that focuses on the way women are depicted in the popular culture stories.
