Amy Smart is a former American model and actor. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modeling career there. She began her acting career in the year 1996 with The TV movie Her Costly Affair. Following a long and difficult battle, she landed a role as 'Starship Troopers' in her role in Starship Troopers. She struggled with the transition into acting since models weren't considered good actors, and they typically were given smaller parts. Amy did her best to get noticed and eventually she was offered bigger roles beginning with The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. After a few years, Amy took the leap into more leading roles.
