
Beverly Lumbres Caimen, born June 20, 1994 also known as Beverly, is a Filipino pop artist who is based in Japan under the Avex Trax. Her many soundtrack appearances include "Be the One" from Kamen Rider Build and "Koko" from Pokemon the Movie Secrets of the Jungle. Beverly Caimen, the third of three children born to Ramon Vega Caimen, Leticia Valdez Lumbres, and Leticia Caimen was born on the 20th of June, 1994 in Calamba (Laguna, Philippines). She had a brother and two sisters. Beverly began singing at age five, when her mother sent her to school, and she discovered she had talent for singing. When she was seven years old, old, Beverly was a member of the school choir, and began singing lessons at the age of nine. Her mother also encouraged her to join in the choir. Around this time she entered her first competition in singing, however, she didn't take home the prize. However, her mother encouraged her to continue as she needed more knowledge. She received her degree from Batangas State University with a B.S. in Psychology. Beverly began singing in amateur competitions in order to follow her dream. She won the first prize at the World Championships of Performing Arts. Then she began recording songs for GMA Records, and collaborated with Vehnee Saturno. In the year 2000, she released Beverly Caimen, her first and sole album on GMA. Beverly was nominated for Best Performance by Awit Awards and received the Harvest of Honors award of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. She was also awarded the A Song of Praise Music Festival year-long award for Best Performance.
